About Cody Fletcher

Cody Fletcher is a Fine Art Photographer based out of Orange County, California.

Cody began learning photography at a young age, but not in the conventional way. Growing up as the son of a professional race car driver had its advantages! Rather than learning photography by taking pictures of flowers in his front yard, he had the opportunity to head out to a race track and try to catch a race car driving by at 150 miles per hour. Needless to say it wasn't easy, but with practice the process became more natural and the photos got better.

Meanwhile, Cody began to study computer science and design where his eyes were opened to the possibilities that the Internet offered. He took on any computer job he could, including video game programming for the popular Tony Hawk & Spider-Man video game series, network engineering and computer repair, but he found that his passion was being a photographer.

When digital photography became more widely available, Cody was able to shorten his workflow (thanks to the built-in LCDs) and take more photos. This increase in photos and technology led to better photographs which eventually led to more exposure and eventually getting photos published in newspapers and magazines.

Cody now regularly travels wherever his photography takes him, lately it has been Mexico, Honduras, The Indianapolis Motor Speedway (home of the Indy 500), across the United States, and this year he has plans to travel to Central America, Taiwan, China, and Japan. With a photography portfolio consisting of cover photos on nationally circulated magazines and newspapers, he looks forward to every assignment as an adventure, and every adventure as a new way to see the world.
